Called a Toothpick Bo Staff or Tapered Bo Staff as well and used by Karate, Taekwondo, Tang Soo Do and other similar styles. They all love this Red Blue Graphite Bo Staff. It’s graphite shell makes it really lightweight compared to the wooden bo staffs. The core is made from wood and doesn't extend the full length of the bo staff, leaving a hollow graphite staff at the ends. This makes it super lightweight almost three times lighter than a red oak bo staff.
The staff is made so it can be screwed in half for easy transportation, the screw thread is metal so it’s tough and can be screwed in and out many times without issue. It also locks tight really easily so you don't need to force it shut, which would wear it out fast.
This particular Bo Staff is a foot shorter than the standard length making it perfect for people around 5ft tall. Children and short adults. Really small kids will probably wan the Graphite Jo Staff and adults from about 5'6" and up will want the 6ft graphite bo staff. A great staff for people that want their forms to look fast and sharp. Great for competitions forms and demonstrations.
"Graphite is a tough material but on these staffs it is pretty thin to keep the weight down. It is not designed for partner work and impact, purely for solo form work. If you want to make contact, best to buy a wooden bo staff"

We have a few different options for posting your items at Enso Martial Arts Shop. Prices vary depending on the overall order, weight, size etc. The checkout page will automatically workout the possible options for you.
We can send your item(s) in the following ways:
Courier Tracked and Insured - Order before 1pm, we can pack and post the same day to be with you the next working day, this is not a weekend service. It is fully tracked and we will send you the tracking number when we process your order.
Hermes - In our experience an extremely slow service, we cannot guarantee it will arrive. It isn’t insured or tracked. If you want this pitiful service and your parcel thrown into a random hedge near your house, if you're lucky, just to save about £2 the go for us. Good luck
UPS Worldwide - For anywhere outside the UK, we can post the same day but delivery times are dependent on the destination. Approximate delivery times are as follows:
* Europe: 2-3 working days
* USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand: 3-4 working days
* All other destinations: 4-7 working days.
