Have a dubious history and some people even claim they haven’t been around that long at all. Some accounts go quite far back but really only in the Qing Dynasty. They are almost certainly not a military weapon and solely for personal use. They are mostly used by the Northern Chinese Martial Arts schools like Shaolin Temple Kung Fu and Seven Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu, but apparently Choy Li Fut uses them too.
The Tiger Hook Swords look amazing and very different other weapons. They are the cross between a walking stick, a sword and sun and moon knives or Deer Horn Knives. All of the techniques of these weapons can be used with the Tiger Hook Swords but obviously are limited for various reasons.
The swords feature a hook on the end and sword blade a grip protected by a moon shape guard and a spike on the end of the handle. The techniques that can be learnt are limitless, you’ll love training with these and learning the forms.
“The forms for these Tiger Hook Swords look great, be careful with the bottom spike as it can get caught a lot on your wrists. Try to do some partner work and there are so many techniques hidden away in the forms.” Doug Swift – Enso Martial Arts Shop

We have a few different options for posting your items at Enso Martial Arts Shop. Prices vary depending on the overall order, weight, size etc. The checkout page will automatically workout the possible options for you.
We can send your item(s) in the following ways:
Royal Mail 2nd Class signed - Pretty slow service but will get there eventually. We will try and post it the same day the order comes to us, but not always possible for us. More than likely we will post the next day or day after that. Only possible for small lightweight items, as heavy items are more expensive than UPS.
UPS Standard - Order before 12pm and we can pack and post the same day to be with you the next day. If you order after 12pm we can still pack it and have it ready but it is less likely to be collected the same day (still possible though, depends when the UPS man comes) and will arrive the day after that.
UPS Worldwide - For anywhere outside the UK, we can post the same day but delivery times are dependent on the destination. Approximate delivery times are as follows:
