Three Section Metal Bo Staff Description

Known as one of the more advanced weapons in Kung Fu, the three section staff is a versatile weapon that can be used at all fighting ranges. Long range for striking and whipping, mid range as a flail or two section staff style fighting and short range, similar to that of Escrima stick fighting. It is thought that its uses wouldn’t be any good on a battlefield but would be better served for personal self defence. The amount of attacking and defending techniques that are possible with this weapon are almost limitless and you can spend a lifetime perfecting them.

This three section metal bo staff is something you'd expect to see in the movies, and I has featured now and again. It can be a fully functional Bo Staff when all screwed together, being the standard 6ft expected from anything named a Bo Staff. It then can unscrew on two threads into a fully functional three section staff. You can also unscrew just one section and use it as the very rare weapon known as a lashing staff or two section staff.

The sections are connected with a chain and ball bearing and fit inside the Aluminum shaft when screwed together. Not really designed for striking, it will take a little punishment as it is metal but not a huge amount and it will dent if hit hard enough. Take it easy with this weapon and you can have so much fun with it.

“My only advice is prepare yourself, this weapon is not for the faint hearted, some people think it’ll be an easy transition from Nunchaku to this. They are wrong, the best transition is from Bo Staff or Kung Fu staff but you’re still in for a steep learning curve. Beware.”
