Feiyue shoes have been the shoe of choice for Shaolin Monks for years. Many people practicing Shaolin Kung Fu, Wu Shu, San Da and other Chinese Martial Arts are wearing these for training and practicing too. In fact, they are so popular now, people who have never even done martial arts are buying them just for the look and comfort of the shoe. Everyone is loving the Feiyue shoes.
I myself have been to the Shaolin temple a number of times and have seen the young monks running up and down flights of stairs in their worn Feiyue shoes. They’re so tough, they have to be. Henan province has dusty, stony ground. The monks don’t get plush training halls with gymnastic grade sprung wooden floors. They get concrete if they’re lucky or usually just the packed earth.
These guys don’t mess about, they need a shoe that will allow them to feel the floor, the ground they are on is quite often unpredictable, lumps and bumps all over the place. They also need a shoe that has good grip to keep them upright while practicing their Kung Fu. On all surfaces too, in any one day they might go from packed earth to concrete to flagstone flooring in the temple to carpet. They need a shoe that can perform on all these surfaces. Not only that but they also need a shoe that will not fall apart every 5 minutes these guys to not have money to burn so cannot afford to go through expensive pairs of shoes every week.
These Feiyue are the original Top One Black Feiyue Shoes. With so many different varieties of Feiyue out there on the market nowadays, especially with the boom of Feiyue fashion varieties, it is easy to buy the wrong style. People love geeking out on the Feiyue and there is a big debate about which Feiyue are the best. General opinion is the Top One with the Green Triangle on the bottom are the most original. Also these green triangle Top One shoes are the shoes the monks wear, the shoes the parkour and circus guys love too. These are the ones you want, the Green Triangle Top One Feiyue.
