The carving also gives the user great grip and much more grip than most regular bo staffs.
Being made form Red Oak wood, they are just as tough and durable as the regular Japanese red oak bo staff we sell and follow the same dimensions too. They feel great in your hands and the additional grip gives you loads more confidence when swinging and moving the staff. The carved dragon grooves gives loads of extra grip from the standard bo staff. These are a really tough weapon and will stand up to some abuse, but don’t forget it is wood. Wood is a natural product and on occasion can can break so a real thumping could end up with a broken stick. Look after your staff and it will last you for years.
Suitable for anyone doing bo staff training regardless of the styles you training whether it's Japanese, Chinse or Korean. Of course, it's not the norm, so always ask your instructor first if you're not sure but this will be a perfect training Bo Staff for any of the styles that train with them.
