This Flexible Wushu Broadsword is made to be super lightweight, allowing your forms to be fast and look spectacular. Designed for modern Wushu practitioners for both practice and competition. You’ll also see them a lot in the Shaolin Temple and many other training centres across China and the world. The hyper flexible end of the blade makes a whipping sound when thrush out adding to the 'show' for demonstration and competitions.
Made from sprung steel, it gives the broadsword super flexibility, which makes a great sound when thrusted out in forms. The thickness tapers from a relatively thick blades at the hilt all the way down to extremely thin at the other. The Chinese broadsword complete with a black scabbard with metal fitting and a dragon on the side. You also get two flags on the end.
They also double up perfectly for Kung Fu and Wushu, especially Shaolin, Modern wushu and other modern styles of Kung Fu acorss China, but also for Tai Chi practitioners who want to move into a metal sword but not keen on the standard weight of a rigid Kung Fu broadsword. These are so lightweight, they are an excellent equivalent training weapon.
“I personally went to buy these in the Shaolin area in China. I hand picked these from a massive range of Chinese Broadswords. One major difference in the types is the quality of the build. The scabbards are the same but these swords are built so much better than the standard wushu broadsword. Enjoy.”
