XMA, Taekwondo, Tang Soo Do and other similar styles will love this Graphite Jo Staff. It is super lighweight and allows the practitioner to be super fat and sharp with their movements. Mainly it's bought by styles that do a lot of competition training. Really it should be called a 4ft Graphite Bo Staff as it is used buy shorter people competing in Bo Staff competitions. Kids and teenagers will love this staff, but also adults who are around 5ft and under.
The entire outer skin is a graphite shell, which is relatively thin to save weight so not designed for partner work. In the centre is a wood core which holds the thread for the 2 piece construction. It has a metal thread which screws into a metal lug, this forms a really tight bond when together and doesn't come apart when using. When you've finished training you can take it apart and store it easily. It’s graphite shell makes it really lightweight compared to the wooden jo staffs. This makes it great for spinning really fast and stopping on a pin point.
A perfect staff for competitors of Bo Staff competitions that want a super lightweight easy to move Bo Staff.
“Graphite is a tough material but on these staffs it is pretty thin to keep the weight down. It is not really designed for partner work and impact, purely for solo form work. If you want to make contact, best to buy a wooden bo staff.”

We have a few different options for posting your items at Enso Martial Arts Shop. Prices vary depending on the overall order, weight, size etc. The checkout page will automatically workout the possible options for you.
We can send your item(s) in the following ways:
Courier Tracked - Order before 1pm, we can pack and post the same day to be with you the next working day, this is not a weekend service. It is fully tracked and we will send you the tracking number when we process your order.
Hermes - In our experience an extremely slow service, we cannot guarantee it will arrive. It isn't an option on the website for good reason, so if you want this pitiful service and your parcel thrown into a random hedge near your house, if you're lucky, just to save about £2 then simply call us on 0117 942 5832 and we can process your order over the phone.
UPS Worldwide - For anywhere outside the UK, we can post the same day but delivery times are dependent on the destination. Approximate delivery times are as follows:
* Europe: 2-3 working days
* USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand: 3-4 working days
* All other destinations: 4-7 working days.
