Marc De Bremaeker has been involved in martial arts for more than forty-five years.
As a flashy kicker in his successful tournament days, he always looked beyond his core Shotokan karate practice for improvement. Fascinated by the common root of all martial arts, he has trained seriously in many schools and styles. Marc holds black belts in Shotokan, Wadoryu and Shi Heun karate, in Kodokan judo and in tai-jutsu.
He has also trained in taekwondo, savate, kick-boxing, capoeira, Shotokai, Kyokushinkai and Sankukai karate, aiki-jutsu and the soft styles of kung fu.
Roy Faige is the head of the Shi Heun style founded by his late father. An undefeated competitor with numerous international tournament titles to his name, he was captain and later coach of the Israeli National Karate team for over ten years. Roy is also an officer in one of the most elite of commando units of the Israeli Army, and co-founded the ShayKiDo Institute where a combination of martial arts training and professional psychotherapy is used to help children, teenagers and adults who suffer from difficulties with self-regulation.
Shahar Navot is a renowned illustrator and caricaturist whose work has been published in leading periodicals. He is also an enthusiastic martial artist with a second degree black belt in the Shi Heun karate style.
