These Rattan Nunchaku are much lighter compared to standard wooden Nunchaku, they are much closer in weight to the Foam Nunchaku. This means you get a really smooth transition from Foam to wood via these Rattan Nunchaku.
These Rattan Nunchaku are much lighter compared to standard wooden Nunchaku, they are much closer in weight to the Foam Nunchaku. This means you get a really smooth transition from Foam to wood via these Rattan Nunchaku. You get the size and hardness of wood bu the weight of foam. You can get used to these features first and then when ready and comfortable slowly move onto wood in your own time.
Made from Rattan is can be confused with bamboo, they are solid, hard but lightweight. Rattan is super durable and can handle be dropped and knocked about a bit. The Rattan Nunchaku have a burnt pattern design on both of the chucks and are fixed with chain and ball bearing. This gives a super fast and smooth action when practicing. The Rattan has been planed smooth and has the skin removed so it is smooth, and consistent all the way down the chuck.
A very different different Nunchaku from the standard and a great one for beginners moving on from foam and also for advanced practitioners adding to their collection.

Really good quality and sturdy wood. Very pleased.
These are great. I've struggled in the past to get hold of some good quality rattan nunchaku - many of those that are available elsewhere do not spin smoothly, are very heavy and/or have so many rough edges that my students end up with a handful of splinters.
These, on the other hand, do the job brilliantly - they are lightweight and really well-made. Thank you!
