Tatami BJJ SPATS Black Description
Tatami Fightwear was only established in 2009, but has quickly grown to be a world leader for BJJ and Nogi training kit. As BJJ has exploded around the world so has Tatami now produces some of the best BJJ Gi's and Nogi clothing in the world.Not only that they are from a very similar part of the world as Enso Martial Arts Shop, so it's nice to have a local (ish) brand that is a world leader. Tatami sponsored BJJ athletes include JT Torres, Vitor 'Shaolin' Ribeiro, Robson Moura and Michelle Nicolini to name a few.
SPATS are still a fairly new item in the martial arts world but have become essential for BJJ, Nogi, submission wrestling and MMA. While these are not compression SPATS, they still do offer some compression, which is shown to keep your muscle warmed and slow down muscle fatigue. This also helps with reducing injuries. For BJJ guys in Gi’s the SPATS worm underneath your Gi will reduce Gi rubbing and skin irritation. On the flip side the Nogi guys will notice that the SPATS help to increase grip with their legs.
The main point though is that whichever discipline you are training in the SPATS massively reduce the chance of contracting a Staph infection or Ringworm by avoiding Skin to Skin. This means you can stay super hygienic, train more and stay out of the doctors and hospital. Happy days! Made from a mix of 90% polyester and 10% spandex and have an elasticated waist with a drawstring. They are also available in blue which we don't currently have on the website but email us and we'll order for you.

Size is based loosely on waist size:
- Small (30” waist)
- Medium (32” waist)
- Large (34” waist)
- XL (36” waist)

We have a few different options for posting your items at Enso Martial Arts Shop. Prices vary depending on the overall order, weight, size etc. The checkout page will automatically workout the possible options for you.
We can send your item(s) in the following ways:
Courier Tracked and Insured - Order before 1pm, we can pack and post the same day to be with you the next working day, this is not a weekend service. It is fully tracked and we will send you the tracking number when we process your order.
Hermes - In our experience an extremely slow service, we cannot guarantee it will arrive. It isn’t insured or tracked. If you want this pitiful service and your parcel thrown into a random hedge near your house, if you're lucky, just to save about £2 the go for us. Good luck
UPS Worldwide - For anywhere outside the UK, we can post the same day but delivery times are dependent on the destination. Approximate delivery times are as follows:
