Tokaido Shin Guards WKF Approved Red Description

Tokaido was the first producer of karate uniforms in the world, that’s quite a claim, it also means they’ve had longer than anyone else to perfect their kit.  All of Tokaido’s gear is designed and made by Karateka so all that experience is poured into the brand and equipment. They combined centuries old knowledge and the newest science and manufacturing to constantly improve the kit so it is the best it can be for the top Karateka around the world. As expected, these Tokaido Shin Guards with Foot Protection are some of the highest quality Karate shin guards in the world, certainly in the UK, they are the best you'll find. WKF approved, they are suitable for all Karate sparring, and allowed in all World Karate Federation (WKF) competitions across the world. On the outside is a very soft but durable syntheic leather with is water repellent. This allows your shin guards and Foot protectors to take on less water than other brands will, keeping them fresher for longer. This will extend the life of your pads. The inside is made up of a lightweight polyurethane foam, which is excellent at damping impact, just what you need for those high powered kicks. Also the shape molding of the foam allows for long wearing comfort and helps prevent injuries

The foot pads attach to the shins with a specifically design velcro attachment, giving a seamless transition between your foot and shin, no gaps means less bruises. Design is very subtle on all Karate equipment, but the Velcro straps do have a very nice Tokaido Kanji Japanese writing on the elastic and embroidery on the attachment. Available in Red and Blue for each corner. They are also super strong and allow for a super secure fit.
