Kung Fu Trousers are made from 100% cotton in Black with cuffed ankles. They are very comfortable and give you all the freedom of movement you’ll need.
If you’re looking for a non-restrictive pair of trousers for your Kung Fu or Tai Chi practice, these Kung Fu Trousers are a very good option. The name is slightly misleading as they are an excellent trouser for all Chinese Martial Arts and Martial Arts training general. Made from a thick durable fabric, these trousers are hard wearing and tough. The material varies a bit, they can be 100% cotton or 65% polyester 35% cotton mix. This is due to the fluctuating supply of cotton and the supply of the trousers for us also fluctuates. If you have a specific need in either type of fabric call us at the shop and we'll try our best to get you what you need.
As all good martial arts trousers should have these Kung Fu Trousers have a built in extra gusset for non-restriction when stretching on deep postures. This allows you to do full splits if possible. They are made with cuffed ankles which are a very practical way of stopping the ends of your trousers flapping around and scrapping on the floor. It also makes them last longer and not wear out. The Kung Fu Trousers also have an elasticated waist with a drawstring so you have have a super secure fit, meaning they won't fall down during training or someone's stray kick won't kick them off.
These are very similar to the trousers that comes with the Black Tai Chi Uniform we sell.

The Kung Fu Trousers sizes are based on height of the person. For instance a 3/160 is based on someone who is 160cm in height. However, because of the cuffs you can go baggier if you like. It doesn’t hurt to go bigger anyway because of the shrinkage after washing. The sizes we have available are:
