Wooden Tai Chi Sword Description

This Wooden Tai Chi Sword is one of the best on the market, it's great looking and is perfect for Tai Chi Sword practice . This Wooden Tai Chi Sword allows you to start on your Tai Chi Sword practice without having to spend the money on a much more expensive metal Tai Chi Sword. They are very well balanced, exactly what you need for Tai Chi sword practice, and weigh 430g, which is pretty lightweight so very suitable for most people who practice Tai Chi. You may want something heavier in the future, foa bit of weight training, but this is perfect for when you start. Some people choose to train with these throughout their Tai Chi career.

Made from Red Oak wood, which is a super durable wood which allows the sword to be used for gentle sticking sword practice and partner drills. However, it is made from natural materials so if you beat the hell out of it, it can break.  The guard is decorated with Yin Yang and the Chinese characters spelling Tai Chi, it also has a symbol on the pommel. This makes it very pretty as well as very practical.

Being made the same shape and dimensions as a Metal Tai Chi Sword, you'll find when you are ready to move onto one, the transition will not be too difficult. This is very important as you won;t use up much practice time getting used to a new sword. A great sword and very usable for Tai Chi.

Advice from the shop on Wooden Tai Chi Sword

“Some people can find the carved guard can rub a little on the hand. The corner scan something be a little annoying so take a small bit of same paper to the edges and it’ll be lovely a comfortable after that. You may not notice it and not know what I’m talking about, but worth a mention.”

Shipping your Wooden Tai Chi Sword

We have a few different options for posting your items at Enso Martial Arts Shop. Prices vary depending on the overall order, weight, size etc. The checkout page will automatically workout the possible options for you.
We can send your item(s) in the following ways:
Courier Tracked - Order before 1pm, we can pack and post the same day to be with you the next working day, this is not a weekend service. It is fully tracked and we will send you the tracking number when we process your order.
Hermes - In our experience an extremely slow service, we cannot guarantee it will arrive. It isn't an option on the website for good reason, so if you want this pitiful service and your parcel thrown into a random hedge near your house, if you're lucky, just to save about £2 then simply call us on 0117 942 5832 and we can process your order over the phone.
UPS Worldwide - For anywhere outside the UK, we can post the same day but delivery times are dependent on the destination. Approximate delivery times are as follows:
  • Europe: 2-3 working days
  • USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand: 3-4 working days
  • All other destinations: 4-7 working days

The is our second wooden sword from Enso. Both are quite alike. Very easy to use. My husband loves them. He thought he lost his first one but he didn't and now he has two. He is a happy Tai Chi person. Thank you whoever makes them and thanks to Enso for selling them. It took only 5 days to get it here in Michigan, USA from England!!!
