Japanese Obi Belts are use specifically for Japanese Sword based martial arts like Iaido, Kendo and Kenjitsu
Japanese Obi can be traced back 1000 years and are used in all kinds of traditional dress. Originally men's and women's were very similar and only separated in more recent times. Obi in English simply means belt. So for Japanese martial arts, Obi means any belts so for Judo, Karate those belts are also Obi. However, usually when someone talks about Obi they mean these Japanese Sword specific Obi. Used for fastening the Gi top like all martial arts belts but also for creating a secure fit of the Saya of the Sword.
Available in three different designs these Japanese Obi Belts are perfect for Japanese Sword Styles like Iaido, Kenjitsu, Kendo to name a few. Very different from the standard martial arts belts, they are very specific to sword styles and wouldn't be used for anything else. Perfect for tying your sword to your body, it is an essential piece of kit and necessary for anyone training with the Japanese Sword.

We can send your item(s) in the following ways:
Courier Tracked and Insured - Order before 1pm, we can pack and post the same day to be with you the next working day, this is not a weekend service. It is fully tracked and we will send you the tracking number when we process your order.
Evri - In our experience an extremely slow service, we cannot guarantee it will arrive. It isn’t insured or tracked. If you want this pitiful service and your parcel thrown into a random hedge near your house, if you're lucky, just to save about £2 the go for us. Good luck
