Red Oak Tapered Bo Staff Description

All tapered Bo Staff offer a lightweight version to their straight cousins. These Red Oak Tapered Bo Staffs are the standard for lightweight wooden bo staffs and offer a traditional version of bo staffs compared to the more modern Graphite Bo Staffs. Due to the reduction in wood compared to the Standard Bo Staffs they move much faster in the air and are much easier to handle and control styles like Karate, Taekwondo and Tang Soo Do are best known for using these.

This ability to be light enough for forms work but also tough enough for partner work. This makes it a super versatile Bo Staff that performs two functions in one. AS well as being lightweight, the tapered ends creates smaller striking points which would produce more damage on your opponent, but these days the weight is the major benefit.

Made from Red Oak this is a super durable Bo Staff and even though the invention of graphite bo staffs has reduced their popularity a bit, they are still a super versatile traditional weapon. Made in the standard Bo Staff length of 6ft / 72 inches / 183cm. You can also buy the Bo Staff Case to store and carry it in.

Courier Tracked - Order before 1pm, we can pack and post the same day to be with you the next working day, this is not a weekend service. It is fully tracked and we will send you the tracking number when we process your order.

Hermes - In our experience an extremely slow service, we cannot guarantee it will arrive. It isn't an option on the website for good reason, so if you want this pitiful service and your parcel thrown into a random hedge near your house, if you're lucky, just to save about £2 then simply call us on 0117 942 5832 and we can process your order over the phone.

UPS Worldwide - For anywhere outside the UK, we can post the same day but delivery times are dependent on the destination. Approximate delivery times are as follows:
