Plastic Saya for Bokken Description

Plastic Saya for Bokken are a great way of being able to practice drawing without having to fork out loads of cash on an expensive Katana early on in your martial arts career. They allow you to keep training with your bokken and add an extra element to your training. With this Plastic Saya for Bokken it opens up all the drawing practice you want within styles like Iaido, Kenjitsu, Traditional Japanese JuJitsu, Ninjutsu, Bujitsu, Bushido and other related styles.

This plastic saya for Bokken fits most bokken currently available on the market, however some bokken it will not fit including Foam Bokken and Suburi Bokken. This Plastic saya for bokken also called a bokken scabbard or bokken sheath is 76cm in length and has a built in Kurigata, which is the loop which has the Sageo tied through it. Sageo is the cord, which is made of nylon, which allows you to tie the plastic saya to your Hakama or Obi. This helps with practiing drawing form the correct position and helps with a smoother transition to Katana when your are ready.

“Not all Bokken will fit these, most will but if you have a chunky bokken or super thin one it won’t fit. All standard wooden bokken should be fine though.“

Shipping your Plastic Saya for Bokken

We have a few different options for posting your items at Enso Martial Arts Shop. Prices vary depending on the overall order, weight, size etc. The checkout page will automatically workout the possible options for you.

We can send your item(s) in the following ways:

Courier Tracked - Order before 1pm, we can pack and post the same day to be with you the next working day, this is not a weekend service. It is fully tracked and we will send you the tracking number when we process your order.

Hermes - In our experience an extremely slow service, we cannot guarantee it will arrive. It isn't an option on the website for good reason, so if you want this pitiful service and your parcel thrown into a random hedge near your house, if you're lucky, just to save about £2 then simply call us on 0117 942 5832 and we can process your order over the phone.

UPS Worldwide - For anywhere outside the UK, we can post the same day but delivery times are dependent on the destination. Approximate delivery times are as follows:

Europe: 2-3 working days
USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand: 3-4 working days
All other destinations: 4-7 working days.

I bought this specifically for Cold Steel Unbreakable Bokken and it doesn't fit. Don't be fooled. You can't cut anything off this data to make it better. The curve of the says doesn't match the Bokken. It gets so stuck you need to pry it open with 2 hands.

It does, however, fit my white oak better than the original saya that came with it. It holds it nice and snug and I ditched the other saya now.

I just wish it fit the plastic Bokken.
