Throwing knives or throwing darts exist throughout the world, evolving separately from each other. The benefit of having a sharp weapon you can accurately throw doesn't need any explanation. Within martial arts they are best known in Japanese martial arts, but Chinese martial arts does use throwing knives, seen often in Shaolin Kung Fu Demo when a monk throws a needle through a plate of glass. However this is a rare skill and most people stick with Throwing knives and they are much more predicable and easier to master.
Called Shuriken in Japanese, which translates a hand hidden blade, can sometimes be thought of as only the Ninja Stars, but it refers to also small throwing bladed weapons. Throwing Knives from Japanese an China tend to have the willow leaf shape and are double sided knives. These Practice Throwing knives are exactly that. They are also not sharp and made from Stainless steel, they come in a set of three and have a sturdy case to put them in. They also have a handle wrap for good grip.
Perfectly weighted and designed to land blade end, regardless of the martial arts you train you can really get to grips with your throwing skill and get super consistent.
Advice from the shop on the Practice Throwing Knives
“These aren't sharp but they are relatively heavy and made from steel so don't throw them at people, it'll still really hurt someone. Just stick to targets and keep everyone around you happy and healthy”
