Wooden Cord Nunchaku Description

These are about as traditional as it gets, unless you buy a 200 year old pair, of course. These wooden Cord Nunchaku are a super simple design, really smooth and elegant. They hark back to an older When tools were made in a much simler way with pure functionality in mind. You’ll get a completely different feel from these Wooden Cord Nunchaku than you do from  Nunchaku with chain and ball bearings fitted. 

Being made from Red Oak makes these Wooden Cord Nunchaku super durable and tough. Red oak wood is used on a lot of Japanese Weapons because of it's toughness but also it's relatively available so keep the price of weapons at an affordable level.  The chucks are linked together with a nylon cord, which will eventually wear out if you use your nunchaku a lot, but it's super easy to replace, which is a great feature of the Wooden Cord Nunchaku. If you do need to replace the cord make suer you do it with glue too, Make sure you replace the glue too, just for extra safety. 

The round red oak shaft design feels great in your hand and the cord keeps your swinging nunchkau at bay when practicing.  Rope or Cord Nunchaku give a super smooth controlled swing, very different to Chain and ball bearing. Really nice traditional Nunchaku to add to your collection, enjoy trainign with them.
