Jeet Kune Do Conversations Description

What exactly is Jeet Kune Do? Is it simply a fighter's personal expression in combat? Is it a style? Is it a process? Is it a product? Can it be taught? Can it be learned? While the founder felt there should be no such thing as a “fixed” system or method of fighting, he did believe there is definitely a progressive approach to training. Let Asian boxing champion Dan Lee, leading instructors Bob Bremer, Ted Wong, and Dan Inosanto, and legendary scriptwriter Sterling Silliphant explain the many concepts and principles of the art in a clear manner that everyone can understand. Packed with dynamic photographs, this book presents the ins-and-outs of the philosophy of the art of Jeet Kune Do.

'On the Back' of Jeet Kune Do Conversations

Bruce Lee started a worldwide martial arts phenomenon the likes of which  might never be seen again. The Little Dragon's charisma, intensity, skill, dedication, and belief in himself influenced an entire generation, and his legend and legacy is still wildly popular to this day. From those closet to him, during the struggling years he developed "the style of no style" and laid the foundation for his international stardom to come, this book reveals Bruce Lee's fears, hopes, dreams, and aspirations - giving an intimate and touching look at this charismatic figure through personal glimpses into his day-to-day life. From Asian boxing champion Dan Lee to personal students such a Bob Bremer and Ted Wong, and from training partner Dan Inosanto to legendary scriptwriter Sterling Silliphant, those who knew him best give their candid views of the man who would come to be known as the greatest martial artist who ever lived.

Author Jose M. Fraguas has been practicing researching and writing about Bruce Lee's art and philosphy since 1980. A prolific European write and publisher, he has hundreds of articles, dozens of books, and numerous screenplays to his credit. Originally from Madrid, Spain, he currently lives in Los Angeles where he is the General Manager of CFW Enterprises, the world's leading martial arts publishing company.
