Leather Kenpo Gloves have many names such as Bang Sau Gloves, Bruce Lee Gloves and Kempo Gloves and were made famous by Bruce Lee in Enter the Dragon
Leather Kenpo Gloves go by many names these days. Some of these names are as follows:
Regardless of the name, they we’re made famous by Bruce Lee in the film Enter the Dragon in the 1970’s. Some also argue they are a precursor to the modern day MMA glove which has exploded onto the martial arts scene.
The leather kenpo gloves’ design allow grabs and grips to be applied, as the palm material is very thin and the fingers exposed. The back of the glove is made from a wool padding, which protects the hands very well. The padding extends all the way up into individual fingers and thumbs with a padding over the top of the fingers.
The wrist guard has laced closure for a secure fit and a cotton filled ribbed cuff. Very few clubs actually use these for training these days, but they are a great Bruce Lee collectors item and lots of people wear them as part of a fancy dress outfit.
“If you did want to train in these, they are quite stiff to start with, you need to wear them in, just like a pair of leather shoes.”

These are quite a big glove and the one size fits most hands.

We have a few different options for posting your items at Enso Martial Arts Shop. Prices vary depending on the overall order, weight, size etc. The checkout page will automatically workout the possible options for you.
We can send your item(s) in the following ways:
Royal Mail 2nd Class signed - Pretty slow service but will get there eventually. We will try and post it the same day the order comes to us, but not always possible for us. More than likely we will post the next day or day after that. Only possible for small lightweight items, as heavy items are more expensive than UPS.
UPS Standard - Order before 12pm and we can pack and post the same day to be with you the next day. If you order after 12pm we can still pack it and have it ready but it is less likely to be collected the same day (still possible though, depends when the UPS man comes) and will arrive the day after that.
UPS Worldwide - For anywhere outside the UK, we can post the same day but delivery times are dependent on the destination. Approximate delivery times are as follows:
