This style of Tai Chi Uniform is the standard choice of clothing for the majority of Tai Chi practitioners in China. You can see the big flowing satin uniforms in nearly all the parks you go to being worn for Tai Chi practice almost every morning of the week, but the weekends especially. The Tai Chi Uniform silk style Satin is made with 100% polyester, this polyester material has quite a few benefits. The first being that it isn't made from silk so this massively reduces the cost. You still get the feel of silk but without the huge price tag.

Other benefits are that you won't get any shrinkage at all from this material. So the size you buy will be the size it stays at always. This isn't always the case with martial arts clothing. The lovely silky feel glides effortlessly over your body. This has very little restriction when practicing your Tai Chi, you can move with ease without being hindered by snagging material. It also is very lightweight so you aren't weighed down by heavy material. The really lightweight fabric almost stops you noticing it is even there.

Made in the mandarin style, or traditional Tai chi clothing style, the suit is fastened with five toggles made from nylon cord. You get the mandarin style top and bottoms made form the same material. The Tai Chi suit bottoms are open at the bottom, again to allow that free flowing feeling.
