Black Dragon Kung Fu Broadsword Description

This Black Dragon Kung Fu Broadsword is a really well made sword and comes with a full length rigid Sprung steel blade. This means it is semi flexible, somewhere between a Wushu broadsword and a fully rigid Chinese broadsword. This makes your practice much more stable and the weight gives your body something to really work with. Used mainly by Traditional Chinese Kung Fu styles who are looking for a Chinese Broadsword with more weight to it that a lot of modern day Wushu Broadswords. It isn't a fully hardened combat ready steel broadsword but the weight sits somewhere in between. A very usable training broadsword.

Complete with the broadsword is a good solid wooden scabbard, which has a golden dragon carved on the side along with Chinese writing. The sword comes with a really good fittings all metal laid along the scabbard. The hilt and pommel are made from the same metal. The Black Dragon Kung Fu Broadsword also comes with two flags on the pommel. the handle is made from wood and painted black, the saem colour as the scabbard.

We can send your item(s) in the following ways:

Courier Tracked - Order before 1pm, we can pack and post the same day to be with you the next working day, this is not a weekend service. It is fully tracked and we will send you the tracking number when we process your order.

Hermes - In our experience an extremely slow service, we cannot guarantee it will arrive. It isn't an option on the website for good reason, so if you want this pitiful service and your parcel thrown into a random hedge near your house, if you're lucky, just to save about £2 then simply call us on 0117 942 5832 and we can process your order over the phone.

UPS Worldwide - For anywhere outside the UK, we can post the same day but delivery times are dependent on the destination. Approximate delivery times are as follows:

Europe: 2-3 working days

I'm pretty impressed! The sword is good quality, and nicely weighted to use. I'm a hung Ga man, and you can still get this sword to bend a little in the thrusts if you work your stances well, but it's not easy. I would call it semi rigid. The weight is good, you know you're holding it but it doesn't break your arm off if you try to put some speed and strength through it. The fixtures and fittings look good and should stand up to some abuse. The communication from the shop was excellent and the delivery was very quick (even with the snow!)
