Damascus Wing Chun Butterfly Knives Description

Mostly attributed with southern Kung Fu styles but have been found throughout China. Even though they are called Wing Chun Butterfly Knives, other kung styles use them such as Hung Gar Kung Fu, Choy Li Fut and Shaolin Temple Kung Fu. Traditionally every pair of Wing Chun Butterfly Knives would be made to measure for the individual practitioner. Depending on Kung Fu style, ability, size, etc would all effect the shape, size and design of the weapon. Wing Chun Butterfly Knives have different names, they are often called Wing Chun Butterfly Swords and Baat Jaam Do

Important to note, that they are not to be confused with the Balisong Knife, which is also commonly called a Butterfly Knife

Unless you have a skilled blacksmith to hand knowledgeable in Wing Chun Butterfly Knives, these are ome of the best Wing Chun Butterfly knives out there. Made from Hand forged Damascus steel, not only do the knives look amazing but are super practical and ready for Wing Chun practice. The blades are dull for obvious reasons and traditionally would often only be sharpened for the second half of the blade anyway so when used for blocking it won’t break the edge. They have whats called an apple seed blade shape, super authentic. They have brass handles with a wooden inlaid flush for a smooth and comfortable grip.

The Hand Forged Wing Chun Butterfly Knives also come with a thick leather case that keeps the knives separate from each other when transporting them around.  The brass guard or hook extends around the hand, so can be used for blocking, striking and protecting the hand.  This also extends over the blades into, what in English is called, a quilion. This can be used to spin the knives around your hand into a reverse position as well as trapping attacking weapons and disarming.

Shipping your Damascus Wing Chun Butterfly Knives

We have a few different options for posting your items at Enso Martial Arts Shop. Prices vary depending on the overall order, weight, size etc. The checkout page will automatically workout the possible options for you.

We can send your item(s) in the following ways:

Courier Tracked and Insured - Order before 1pm, we can pack and post the same day to be with you the next working day, this is not a weekend service. It is fully tracked and we will send you the tracking number when we process your order.

Hermes - In our experience an extremely slow service, we cannot guarantee it will arrive. It isn’t insured or tracked. If you want this pitiful service and your parcel thrown into a random hedge near your house, if you're lucky, just to save about £2 the go for us. Good luck

UPS Worldwide - For anywhere outside the UK, we can post the same day but delivery times are dependent on the destination. Approximate delivery times are as follows:

* Europe: 2-3 working days

* USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand: 3-4 working days

* All other destinations: 4-7 working days.
