Most Chinese Martial Art Weapons tend to be quite big, so these are the opposite of that rule. They are a very simple weapon that is thought to have been developed in Emei Mountain in China. The Wushu Emei Piercers consist of a rod of metal with a spike on either end, used for stabbing and slashing. In the middle of the rod is a loop which can spin in place which your middle finger goes through. This allows the user to spin the Emei Piercers when in hand. This is though to be able to distract the opponent.
Weapons in China tend to fit into certain categories and this one definitely is in concealed weapons category. There have been several period in China where there were lots of bandits and a need for self protection was high. Having a small weapon that can help protect you would have very useful and this is most likely where the Emei Piercers were developed. Nowadays they are mainly seen in Wushu and much more of a performance weapon.
“Personally I think these traditionally would have only been one side, meaning the user could hide the spike up their sleeve and spin it round to grab it in their hand if needed, but who am I to say.”

We can send your item(s) in the following ways:
Royal Mail 2nd Class signed - Pretty slow service but will get there eventually. We will try and post it the same day the order comes to us, but not always possible for us. More than likely we will post the next day or day after that. Only possible for small lightweight items, as heavy items are more expensive than UPS.
UPS Standard - Order before 12pm and we can pack and post the same day to be with you the next day. If you order after 12pm we can still pack it and have it ready but it is less likely to be collected the same day (still possible though, depends when the UPS man comes) and will arrive the day after that.
UPS Worldwide - For anywhere outside the UK, we can post the same day but delivery times are dependent on the destination. Approximate delivery times are as follows:
