Black Three Section Staff Description

The three section staff is a versatile kung fu weapon that can be used at all fighting ranges. Long range for striking and whipping, mid range as a flail or two section staff style fighting and short range, similar to that of Escrima stick fighting.  People say that wouldn’t be much good on a battlefield but would be better served for personal self defence. The amount of attacking and defending techniques that are possible with this weapon are almost limitless and you can spend a lifetime perfecting them.

This Black Three Section Staff is made from oak wood and linked with ball bearing swivels and chains. The oak is a very hard wood, so takes some punishment if you accidentally drop it or hit it against something.  Be careful though, it is only wood so could break if hit too hard.  

Training with the black Three Section Staff almost needs no instructor, once you have some ideas and possibly a form the Three Section Staff will teach you. It will hit you when you get something wrong, so fly off in the wrong direction. If you trying to strike things with it and it will bounce off it all kinds of ways you never expected. Practice and it’ll all come good.

“My only advice is prepare yourself, this weapon is not for the faint hearted, some people think it’ll be an easy transition from Nunchaku to this. They are wrong, the best transition is from Bo Staff  or Kung Fu staff but you’re still in for a steep learning curve. Beware.”

Shipping your Black Three section Staff

We have a few different options for posting your items at Enso Martial Arts Shop. Prices vary depending on the overall order, weight, size etc. The checkout page will automatically workout the possible options for you. 

We can send your item(s) in the following ways:

Royal Mail 2nd Class signed - Pretty slow service but will get there eventually. We will try and post it the same day the order comes to us, but not always possible for us. More than likely we will post the next day or day after that. Only possible for small lightweight items, as heavy items are more expensive than UPS. 

UPS Standard - Order before 12pm and we can pack and post the same day to be with you the next working day. If you order after 12pm we can still pack it and have it ready but it is less likely to be collected the same day (still possible though, depends when the UPS man comes) and will arrive the day after that. 

UPS Worldwide - For anywhere outside the UK, we can post the same day but delivery times are dependent on the destination. Approximate delivery times are as follows:

• Europe: 2-3 working days
• USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand: 3-4 working days
• All other destinations: 4-7 working days.
